Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Nurse to join our team at Grace Medical Center. As a valued member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care in compliance with the Maryland Nurse Practice Act and organization protocols.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Services or 3-5 years of acute care experience, along with current RN licensure with the Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State. BLS certification is required, while ACLS, PALS, and Hazmat certifications are preferred. Certification in Emergency Nursing is also highly regarded.
In this role, you will collaborate with staff, physicians, and other disciplines to deliver quality care and maintain a safe patient environment. You will assess patients for changes that may hinder recovery and develop, implement, evaluate, and revise plans of care based on their physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs.
As an Emergency Department Nurse, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides exceptional care to patients and families. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility featuring 17,000 square feet of space with technology and amenities for emergency care.
Our department includes 29 spacious private treatment rooms, negative pressure rooms for isolation of infectious diseases, and a behavioral health treatment pod for patients in psychiatric or behavioral crisis. The latest edition CT Scanner is also located within the department, enabling early diagnosis of conditions such as strokes and impending heart attacks.
