Job Title: Medical Support Specialist

Job Summary:

Our North Country Family Health Center is seeking a dedicated Medical Support Specialist to support the smooth operation of our clinic. As a key contributor, you will work closely with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide medical care to patients, either in-person or via telemedicine
  2. Work collaboratively with Patient Service Representatives, Providers, and Family Practice Administrators to ensure seamless patient care
  3. Facilitate the efficient flow of patients through the clinic
  4. Assist with client follow-up and chart maintenance
  5. Maintain a clean and organized environment, including exam rooms, lab areas, and bathrooms

Requirements:

  • Certified Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant Certification in New York State or equivalent
  • Completion of medical assisting course or at least 1 year of experience in medical assisting
  • High School Diploma required
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Attention to detail and problem resolution skills
  • Positive attitude, high energy, and adaptability to change
