Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Synerfac. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by receiving, storing, and shipping products in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move goods throughout the warehouse
  • Verify incoming shipments and inspect goods for damage or discrepancies
  • Stage products based on customer orders and assist in filling customer orders
  • Document the numbers of units handled or moved each day using production sheets and barcode scanners
  • Utilize protective devices to block and brace loads to prevent damage to items during transport
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and report discrepancies or shortages
  • Maintain accurate records of goods stored in the warehouse
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, and ensure products are stored in the correct locations
Requirements
  • High school diploma required
  • Ability to lift, push, and slide up to 75 pounds at a time frequently
  • Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification strongly preferred
  • Availability to work overtime hours preferred
  • Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
  • Basic computer skills
