HR Generalist

Instant Brands is seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to provide comprehensive support to our Distribution Facility in Greencastle, PA. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for administering corporate and local policies, HR systems, and labor relations.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Onboarding and Exit Processes
Develop and implement efficient onboarding and exit processes to ensure seamless transitions for employees. Track related metrics and maintain accurate records in Success Factors.
Collective Bargaining Agreement AdministrationAdminister applicable provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and provide guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers as needed.
Union Hiring and RecruitmentOversee the union hiring and recruitment process, including posting positions, screening resumes, coordinating interview schedules, preparing offer letters, and managing onboarding processes.
Customer Service and SupportProvide exceptional customer service and support to employees, responding to daily requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Temporary Employment Agencies and FMLA SupportMaintain working relationships with temporary employment agencies and provide administrative support for FMLA and Disability cases.
Recognition Events and Employee EngagementOrganize and manage recognition events to boost employee morale and engagement.
Attendance, Vacation, and Leave ManagementManage attendance, vacation, personal days, leaves, and interview tracking records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Reporting and AnalyticsPrepare and provide monthly reports on absenteeism, headcount, and attrition to inform business decisions.
Benefits and Wellness SupportAssist employees with benefit open enrollment and wellness screenings, ensuring a smooth and informed experience.
Communication and AnnouncementsPrepare and disseminate weekly announcement updates to the workforce, keeping them informed about important company news and initiatives.
Requirements- Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required; a Master's degree is a plus.
ExperienceMinimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in HR or a related field.
Skills and QualificationsPossess updated knowledge of employment laws and practices, with experience working with labor unions. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Success Factors and E-time.
Personal QualitiesAble to deal with diverse populations in a sensitive and tactful manner, with strong conflict resolution and communication skills. Ability to take initiative, set priorities, and work independently or as part of a team.
