Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

At Katalyst Healthcares and Life Sciences, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering to ensure manufacturing support and quality standards are met.
  • Provide manufacturing engineering support to specific projects, including change analysis, risk analysis, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Conduct time studies for various assembly lines and troubleshoot issues related to safety, efficacy, quality, cost, or delivery of components and finished devices.
  • Design, procure, and fabricate tooling and fixtures, and design, document, and improve manufacturing processes and operations.
  • Train, develop, and/or provide work direction to operators and technicians, and participate on cross-functional project teams.
  • Coordinate, manage, and document project work and progress, and recommend appropriate revisions.
  • Participate in design control efforts related to risk analysis and design reviews, and work with CFT teams in troubleshooting problems on the production floor.
Requirements:
  • BS Degree in Packaging Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Equivalent/MS Engineering.
  • Min 3 yrs. Applicable Experience in packaging engineering, medical devices, pharmaceutical or related industry preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
