Customer Service Representative

We are looking for enthusiastic, approachable, and supportive team members to greet and assist our customers. While prior experience in hardware is beneficial, it is not mandatory as we offer comprehensive training.

Work/Life Balance:
This role is part of a team that values your personal time. We believe in fostering trust through transparent communication. Our scheduling is done two weeks in advance, allowing you to plan accordingly.

- Maintain a friendly and outgoing demeanor; collaborate effectively with both customers and team members.
- Ensure all inquiries and calls are handled promptly and courteously.
- Direct any unresolved customer complaints to management.
- Possess a solid understanding of products and store layout.
- Provide personalized service to customers, aiming to amaze them every time.
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and safe work environment.
- Assist with receiving, checking in, and stocking merchandise throughout the store.
- Help maintain appropriate back stock levels.
- Support daily upkeep, organization, and cleanliness of the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor merchandise area.
- Ensure the sales floor is clean and orderly, including promotional displays.
- Assist with merchandise reorganization throughout the store.
- Support Department Specialists with tasks such as pricing updates and special orders.
- Ensure all signage is current throughout the store.
- Operate equipment with proper training.
- Communicate any issues to management for follow-up.
- Share any merchandising or sales ideas with management.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Maintain professionalism in appearance and conduct.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
- You will engage directly with customers, assisting them in finding everything they need for their projects in one visit.
- If you enjoy a fast-paced and lively environment, you will thrive here.
- You will be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours).
- Physical ability to lift 25 to 50 lbs is required.
