Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive nutrition care plans for bariatric surgery patients, incorporating evidence-based practices and individualized patient needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordination, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
- Design and deliver engaging nutrition education programs for patients and community members, addressing socio-economic and psychosocial factors that impact health outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nutrition and dietetics, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) in North Carolina.
- Credentialed as a Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NDTR) or equivalent experience.
- One year of experience in a dietetics role, preferably in a bariatric or surgical setting.
