We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in various areas, including OB/GYN, Abdomen, Neurosonology, Peripheral Vascular, and Echocardiograph.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients served in the department.
- Assess data reflective of patient requirements relative to age-specific needs and provide care needed as described in departmental policies and procedures.
- Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor that reflects a high standard of medical ethics.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic training in an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or approved school of Ultrasound.
- Registered or registry eligible for no more than twelve (12) months in one of the following: A.R.R.T. or A.R.D.M.S.
- Current CPR certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center is a 260+ bed acute care hospital providing emergency and pediatric emergency services. Our facility also offers a behavioral health unit serving teens and adults, an accredited Chest Pain Center, a Certified Primary Stroke Center, and a dedicated orthopedic and spine unit.
