About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team at Bolton & Menk, Inc. in Hibbing, Minnesota. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects and personnel, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage planning, scheduling, and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel, both design and construction.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to understand client needs and expectations.
  • Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
  • Read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
  • Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or modification and repairs to clients, contractors, and other staff members.
  • Assist with business development activities, including client needs, research, proposals, and marketing.
  • Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota.
  • 4+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including experience working with municipal infrastructure.
  • Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration.
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency.
  • Knowledge of MnDOT requirements.
  • Possess a valid driver's license, as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required.
