Process Control Specialist

Job Summary:

Cambria is seeking a highly skilled Process Control Technician to join our team. As a Process Control Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving our manufacturing and polishing processes, ensuring consistency and increasing yield.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform process control checks and communicate results effectively
  • Assist engineers with trial coordination, developing testing protocols, and managing audits
  • Conduct routine live control monitoring audits
  • Support Process Engineering in providing manufacturing support, analyzing data, and identifying manufacturing issues
  • Work with operators on basic process and engineering changes
  • Assist in identifying manufacturing issues, determining root causes, and implementing corrective and preventative action
  • Possess strong knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, switches, motor starters, contactors, hoists, material handling equipment, and other production facility components
  • Understand data analytics, metrics, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Handle chemicals safely
  • Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Process Technology Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree and/or technical discipline certification or equivalent related experience
  • Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation
  • Ability to become certified in Chemical Handling
  • Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with Oracle, Tableau, and other metric-based software
  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Industrial work experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Push/pull 100 lbs.
  • Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
  • Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
  • Occasionally work in wet and/or humid conditions
  • Work in a non-climate controlled environment
  • Separate slabs using a separator tool in both racks and A-frames
  • Climb in and out of a forklift multiple times throughout shift
  • Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
  • Bend over multiple times throughout shift
