Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a skilled and experienced maintenance technician to join our team at Cedar Fair. As a Park Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections, conducting repairs, and ensuring the safe operation of park attractions and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and complete preventative maintenance work orders.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and kitchen equipment, as well as pneumatic and electronic controls.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, including company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Report major repairs to the Maintenance Manager and schedule workload accordingly.
  • Provide a safe environment for guests and employees, and maintain housekeeping in equipment locations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of maintenance technician experience, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and appliance repair knowledge.
  • Technical training and certification license preferred (e.g. Journeyman electrician, A/C Tech, Journeyman plumber).
  • Valid State Driver's License and proof of personal vehicle insurance.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, humidity, and noise levels. You will be exposed to physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, and working at heights. You must be able to work in close quarters, crawl spaces, and small enclosed rooms, and be able to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
