As salaried physicians, MAPMG members are free from the pressures associated with alternative payment models or fee-for-service structures. Our members enjoy seamless access to specialists and medical records, enabling holistic patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in thorough palliative care evaluations and the development of care plans.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to equality, fairness, and cultural sensitivity while delivering palliative care services to a diverse patient population.
- Utilize prescriptive authority judiciously in managing complex symptoms, including the responsible use of opiates and controlled substances.
- Provide palliative care services through various methods, including in-person consultations, video calls, and telephonic support.
- Engage in extra-clinical activities that promote education, clinical ethics, team collaboration, quality enhancement, and clinical innovation.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director to establish and expand a leading palliative care service line.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified or Eligible in Hospice and Palliative Care.
- Possess or be eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
- Work visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.
MAPMG Physicians:

The starting annual salary for this position is $280,000, reflecting the applicant's skills, qualifications, and relevant factors. In addition to the salary, MAPMG provides extensive benefits that significantly enhance the overall compensation package.
