Milieu Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Milieu Specialist to join our team at Beaumont Behavioral Health, a new 144-bed behavioral health facility. As a Milieu Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing therapeutic milieu management training and monitoring of the hospital units.

• Develop and implement program content and philosophy for therapeutic milieu management
• Provide training and guidance to staff on patient management, environmental management, and staff competency
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic milieu management practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care

• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Five years of professional experience in a mental health hospital setting required
• Experience as a Lead MHT
• Current certification as a Non-Violent Crisis Intervention instructor required
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
