Milieu Specialist

The Milieu Specialist plays a crucial role in providing therapeutic milieu management training and monitoring of hospital units. This position requires a strong understanding of program content and philosophy, patient management training, environmental management, and staff competency.

• Develop and implement therapeutic milieu management plans
• Provide training and guidance to staff on milieu management principles
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of milieu management strategies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Five years of professional experience in a mental health hospital setting required
• Experience as a Lead MHT
• Current certification as a Non-Violent Crisis Intervention instructor required
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
