As a Technical Leader for Agile DevOps Systems at Leidos, you will play a key role in providing technical expertise and support to mission critical systems. This is an exciting opportunity to build strong systems, software, and cloud environments and provide operations and maintenance for critical systems.

The candidate will participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.

You will be responsible for participating in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancement, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Python, SpringBoot, Hibernate, and Angular.

In addition, you will develop and direct software system validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon.

You will also develop and integrate custom developed software solutions to leverage automated deployment technologies.

Furthermore, you will develop, prototype and deploy solutions within Commercial Cloud Solutions leveraging Infrastructure platform services.

You will coordinate closely with team members, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and implementation to customer use cases.

One of your key responsibilities will be to analyze (though proof of concept, performance, and end-to-end testing) and effectively coordinate Infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet customer mission needs.

You will also support the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices.

You will utilize industry leading DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Unix bash scripting.

Additionally, you will document and perform systems software development, including deployment of build artifacts across different environments leverage GitFlow constructs.

Effective communication is essential in this role, and you will communicate key project data to team members and build team cohesion and effectiveness.

You will leverage Atlassian tool suite like JIRA and Confluence to track activities.

Applying and identifying best practices and standard operating procedures is crucial in this position.

You will create innovative solutions to meet the technical needs of customers.

Beyond that, you must have proficient knowledge of common Agile practices, service-orientated environments, and development practices.

You should have significant experience with Java, Angular, Spring and C2S.

In terms of required qualifications, you should have significant experience in the software development lifecycle, with experience delivering within DevOps toolsets/practices.

You should also have experience utilizing software testing performance tools, such as Junit.

Apart from that, you should have significant experience with scripting languages, such as Python, Bash.

It's also necessary to have significant experience working in an Agile development environment and tempo.

Furthermore, you should have significant experience with development in Commercial Cloud Platforms (ex, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

You should also have experience with development leveraging cloud data services (ex: S3, RDS, EFS).

Last but not least, you need excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Additionally, you should be well-versed with using version control systems and issue/problem tracking systems.

To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of prior relevant experience or a Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.

However, additional years of experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Please note that a Candidate must have an active TS/SCI with Poly.

We are looking for someone who has experience working on the customer's systems, understanding of the customer's system development policies, experience with structured analysis and design methodologies, and preferably has worked on CABARESTON.
