Job Overview

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide exceptional care and support to our patients at Emerging Tech, LLC. This role is essential in ensuring the well-being and comfort of patients while assisting healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care:
    • Support patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
    • Monitor vital signs, documenting any changes in health status.
    • Assist in the safe transportation of patients within the facility.
    • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients, addressing their needs with compassion.
  • Clinical Assistance:
    • Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
    • Assist medical staff during procedures by providing necessary tools and support.
    • Report any significant changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff promptly.
    • Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Documentation:
    • Accurately record patient care activities and any relevant observations.
    • Ensure patient records are maintained in compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Safety and Advocacy:
    • Uphold patient safety by following established protocols and procedures.
    • Advocate for patients' rights and preferences, ensuring respectful treatment.
  • Communication:
    • Engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care.
    • Participate in team discussions to enhance patient care strategies.
    • Collaborate with nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
  • Professional Development:
    • Engage in continuous education to stay updated on best practices in nursing care.
    • Assist in training new nursing assistants as required.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program is required.
  • Certification: Must hold a valid Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare environment is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Team-oriented with a strong focus on patient care.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions meticulously.
    • Physical capability to assist in patient mobility and care tasks.
