Job Summary

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician Level II to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in providing professional pharmacy services to patients and staff.
  • Perform clerical tasks, including answering phones, recording, filing, and reporting pharmacy activities and services.
  • Develop technical skills and competency in areas such as central PO, advanced Omnicell processing, non-sterile compounding, and compliance audits.
  • Work under the direct supervision of an experienced pharmacist to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or enrollment in an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration or Texas Pharmacy Intern License.
  • ACPE IV certification required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting, with knowledge of advanced areas such as IV preparation.
