Clark College is seeking candidates for the role of part-time Psychology Professor, with a focus on understanding psychology in the context of power, privilege, and inequality. The courses offered include General Psychology and Lifespan Psychology. Position Responsibilities
GENERAL FACULTY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach courses in General Psychology and/or Lifespan Psychology (Human Development) using effective pedagogical techniques that promote student learning.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve educational objectives.
- Engage in relevant departmental assessment activities.
- Continuously enhance teaching and learning methodologies.
- Participate in departmental and college committees for decision-making.
- Pursue opportunities for professional development.
- Work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Understand and commit to the mission of Clark College.
- Function effectively as a team member.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Master's degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
- Prior teaching experience.
SALARY STATEMENT: Lecture hourly rate is $90.47, and lab hourly rate is $77.27.
