Collaborating closely with colleagues, the Senior Retail Sales Leader ensures that every visitor has a remarkable experience.

Core Responsibilities

- Mentor Retail Sales Associates, under the guidance of the Retail Supervisor, to achieve sales objectives: lead by example, collaborate with the team, exemplify service and sales standards; oversee operational duties in the Supervisor's absence.

- Aid in overseeing and managing Point of Sale transactions, ensuring their precision. Take responsibility for closing registers for Retail team members at the conclusion of each shift. Promptly report any discrepancies to the Accounting department.

- Showcase and improve efficient store operations to enhance productivity, comply with departmental and company policies, uphold visual merchandising standards, optimize product flow, and provide an exceptional visitor experience.

- Maintain store cleanliness and prioritize health and safety measures.

- Conduct pre-shift meetings to enhance team communication.

- Perform additional tasks as necessary to support departmental operations effectively.

Educational Background/Experience/Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience is essential, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Previous leadership experience is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and interpersonal skills are crucial for effective communication with guests, team members, and management.
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales goals and deliver outstanding guest service.
  • Comfortable interacting with the public.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Capable of maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in challenging situations.
Certifications/Licenses/Registrations
  • Subject to the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission's discretion, obtaining and retaining a gaming license may be necessary.
