Job Title: Hydroblaster/Field Technician

At Clean Harbors, we are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Hydroblaster/Field Technician to join our team in Saint Gabriel, LA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the successful execution of setting up and assisting with water treatment systems, pipeline hydrostatic testing, and various other responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Hands-on operation of manual and automated Hydroblasting equipment.
  • Operation of special equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
  • May be required to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations.
  • Conduct routine and required maintenance on the unit and all peripherals, including industrial vacuuming equipment and the disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Valid Driver's License, required (physical copy).
  • Valid Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC), required (physical copy).
  • Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for an extended period.
  • Must be able to work under extreme climate conditions.
  • Must be able to engage in strenuous physical labor.
