Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler - Forklift Operator to join our team at Randstad. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse, operating a forklift, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as backup to other material handlers as needed in different sections
  • Visually inspect materials for damage and ensure they are properly stored
  • Keep areas neat and orderly using 5S guidelines
  • Safely and efficiently deliver materials to storeroom locations or POU locations
  • Notify internal customers of receipts and product availability
  • Receive and process purchase orders, separating AML material from non-AML
  • Sort and disperse return material, maintaining all documentation
  • Unload trucks and check freight bills, verifying material against packing lists
  • Perform duties of internal truck driver, making pickups and deliveries in a timely fashion
  • Maintain stock levels, coordinate movement of material, and locate material as needed
  • Work with planners and buyers to identify and resolve issues
  • Assist with annual inventory
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience operating a forklift
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 30lbs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
