Material Handler

At Applied Medical, we're revolutionizing medical device manufacturing, and we're looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, receiving and processing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and verify incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Unload and load shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
- Label and package items for storage or shipping, following established procedures and safety protocols.
- Abide by safety protocols while handling materials and operating equipment.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Applications, SAP ERP, and other computer software to create and manage reports and records.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Understand and follow Applied Medical's Quality Systems.
- Within 30 days, complete Applied Learning foundational courses with a passing grade of 95% or above, demonstrating rapid integration into company processes.
- Within 60 days, comfortably use SAP, RF Scanners, and required equipment to fulfill material requests, and begin executing tasks more independently.
- Within 90 days to one year, confidently use all related equipment and software to fulfill material requests, execute tasks independently, and have a well-rounded understanding of all working areas of the receiving, picking, and processing areas.
- Ability to work on 1st or 2nd shift within our Applied Rancho Santa Margarita warehouse facility.
- Ability to stand and work for several hours at a time.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
- Read, write, and speak English.
- High school graduate, General Education (GED) or work equivalent.
- Ability to collaborate in a team setting.
- Experience with warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Experience with general computer software.
- Experience in operating forklifts.
