Position Overview:

The Patient Registration Specialist is responsible for delivering essential administrative support within a medical office environment, focusing on patient check-in and check-out processes. The role encompasses a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring a smooth patient experience.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and warmly welcome patients upon arrival.
  • Adhere to established protocols and procedures.
  • Facilitate patient check-in and monitor patient flow.
  • Gather and input patient data into the electronic system.
  • Process co-payments and oversee end-of-day financial reconciliations.
  • Document and manage records of canceled or missed appointments.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling and assist with patient registration tasks.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all patients.
  • Generate daily reports and support additional administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an office or customer service role.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Exceptional customer service aptitude.
Physical Demands:
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
