LPN - Medical Support Specialist

Adecco Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our client's team in Abilene, TX. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of donors. Your responsibilities will include assessing donor eligibility, conducting medical history interviews, and performing physical examinations. You will also be responsible for managing informed consent, providing AIDS education, and confidential self-exclusion. Additionally, you will assess donor reactions occurring at the facility and follow the relevant SOPs for medical emergencies. You will work closely with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs to provide unacceptable findings to donors and guidance on medical or technical issues. You will also champion vaccination programs for employees and master the art of incident management.
