Job Summary

As a Specialty Technician at Hendrick Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our medical and nursing teams. Your responsibilities will include performing routine and advanced patient care tasks under the direction of nursing staff, as well as assisting with clerical and technical tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and support to patients of various ages and acuities
  • Assist medical and nursing personnel with patient examinations, treatments, and care
  • Perform clerical and technical tasks as assigned, including unit cleaning and organization, answering phones, and directing patients and visitors
  • Participate in committee activities, surveys, improvement initiatives, and continuing education
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • No previous experience required
  • CPR certification prior to orientation completion
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt approach to patients of all ages and personnel of all disciplines
  • Professional maturity and accountability
