Job Overview

Hospitality Staffing Solutions Group LLC is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team in Portland, OR. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our resort properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a high standard of excellence in housekeeping operations, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Establish and monitor site goals, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Attend property management meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with resort staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures, as well as contractual obligations.
  • Perform monthly operational reviews, inspecting units daily and completing report cards as required.
  • Monitor and improve site quality scores, reporting monthly results to management.
  • Provide orientation to new employees, training staff on housekeeping procedures and protocols.
  • Facilitate guidance to the Assistant Housekeeper, monitoring progress and providing support as needed.
  • Handle trainee candidates, ensuring their development and growth within the housekeeping team.
  • Support the Area Supervisor in recruiting, hiring, and training qualified employees.
  • Ensure a safe working environment on site and in the office.
Requirements
  • A passion for cleanliness and a commitment to excellence in housekeeping operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and guide team members.
  • Pro-active, self-managing, and able to work under stressful conditions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with resort staff and management.
  • Ability to work irregular hours and travel, as required.
Working Conditions

Work is performed in a hotel setting, requiring the ability to sit and stand for extended periods. Work is also conducted outdoors, requiring the ability to walk and drive for extended periods.

Physical/Visual Requirements
  • Frequent mobility, standing, walking, stair climbing, and/or sitting for extended periods.
  • Requires corrective vision and hearing to normal range.
  • Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Regularly lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard, calculator, copier machine, and other office equipment.
Eligibility Requirements
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test.
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
