Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team at Adventist Health in Reedley, California.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients on our swing bed unit and medical/surgical unit. The primary goal is to deliver occupational therapy services to facilitate the recovery and return of each patient to their home environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to identify their occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions using evidence-based practices and established treatment protocols.
  • Establish and communicate individualized care and discharge plans to ensure a smooth transition for patients.
  • Complete comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
  • Supervise assigned assistants and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy required.
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
  • One year of inpatient Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
