QC Chemist I/II

Boulder Scientific Company is seeking a highly skilled QC Chemist I/II to join our team in Mead, CO.

This is an hourly, 12-hour shift position that requires conducting quality control analysis on substances to support our Production, Pilot Plant, and R&D groups. The successful candidate will utilize appropriate analytical methodologies and instrumentation to perform all duties.

• Perform analytical tests with guidance from experienced or Lead Chemists
• Focus on final testing, with in-process testing responsibilities increasing over time
• Follow work instructions and test methods for product testing under supervision
• Consult batch records and developmental test methods for pilot plant testing
• Prepare laboratory standards and reagents
• Perform analyses safely and participate in safety improvements
• Perform instrument validations and maintenance with supervision

• Bachelor's degree in Science with zero to three years of industrial experience for QC Chemist I
• Bachelor's degree in Science with two to five years of industrial experience for QC Chemist II
• Basic wet chemistry experience
• Experience running experiments in a safe manner with proper PPE
• Experience reviewing data
• Experience working in controlled environments and glove boxes preferred
• Quality control experience preferred

The employee is regularly required to stand and may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee will be required to wear appropriate PPE at all times.
