Technical Writer II

Boulder Scientific Company is seeking a skilled Technical Writer II to join our team. As a Technical Writer II, you will be responsible for creating high-quality batch processing instructions for our Pilot Plant.

• Convert R&D Laboratory Procedures into batch records for Pilot Plant scale-up
• Collaborate with Chemical Operators, R&D Scientists and Chemists, Analytical Scientists and Analysts, and Pilot Plant Management to ensure accurate and complete batch records
• Research and write Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Safety Paragraphs to ensure compliance with company standards
• Establish and maintain standards for style, format, and content of batch records
• Participate in Process Review meetings and Batch Record Review meetings to ensure quality and accuracy of batch records

• BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and 4+ years related work experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel, Access, and chemical structure drawings
• Understanding of organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry preferred

This is a part-time position working 10-20 hours per week. Pay for this role is $45.00 per hour. This position is not eligible for BSC's Employee Benefit Program.
