Norman Regional Health System is a leading community hospital system in the Oklahoma City metro area, renowned for its innovative cardiovascular program. We are seeking an experienced Registered Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals and contribute to the expansion of our program.
Role OverviewThe Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist will play a vital role in preparing and operating equipment during procedures, ensuring patient care and a sterile environment. This position includes training new staff and maintaining a collaborative relationship with cardiologists and electrophysiologists.
Responsibilities- Preparation and operation of imaging equipment during procedures
- Patient care and preparation
- Establishment and maintenance of a sterile environment
- Training of new staff members
- Maintenance of strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- A completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
We offer a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
