Job Summary

As a RN Per Diem III, you will provide direct nursing care to assigned patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and a passion for working in a team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe and effective direct care to patients, prioritizing their needs and ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating age-specific considerations and discharge planning.
  • Participate in orientation and precepting new personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent and documentation.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families, adhering to hospital standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: Essential - Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate, Nonessential - Bachelor's Degree, Education specialization: Essential - Nursing.
  • Experience: Essential - 1 year directly related experience, Nonessential - 3 years directly related experience, Bilingual English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo.
  • Credentials: Essential - CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days, RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification, Nonessential - Nationally Certified in area of specialty, PALS, TNCC and/or ENPC.

Working Conditions

  • Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people.
  • Working environment: Sig Hazard: Chemicals, Bio Hazardous Materials req PPE.
