About the PositionThis 67-bed facility offers a 24-hour emergency service and a 12,000-square-foot intensive care unit. As part of the Riverside Health System, Walter Reed has direct access to Riverside Regional Medical Center's Level II trauma center, a nationally recognized Heart Center, and an 18-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Responsibilities- Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Responsible for the medical management of patients undergoing surgery and other medical procedures
- Pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining and verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, monitoring of the patient's physiological condition, and performance of clinical intervention as needed
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- ECFMG and FLEX certification
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a physician
- Competitive salary: $450,000
- Sign-on bonus incentives: $90,000
