About the RoleThis full-time opportunity offers a unique chance to work with a respected team of providers who are dedicated to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care. As an Advanced Practice Provider Hospitalist, you will work closely with our hospitalists to coordinate patient care, develop treatment plans, and ensure seamless transitions between inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care as a member of our hospitalist team
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
- Ensure timely and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Current, valid state of Virginia medical license or eligibility for one
- Valid DEA controlled substance registration
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Collaborative approach with other physicians and providers
