Diagnostic Radiology Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to join our National Jewish Medical Imaging department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic studies in an ambulatory patient care setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Diagnostic X-ray procedures to provide high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
  • Perform all Fluoroscopic procedures proficiently, working in coordination with Radiologists, Radiologists Practitioner Assistants (RPA's), Speech Therapists, and other qualified physicians as required.
  • Maintain safe radiation safety practices during all Imaging procedures using ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable) principles.
  • Use hospital information systems proficiently, including EMR, scheduling, RIS, and PACS software applications.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from a JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology) certified radiologic technology program required. Associate's Degree preferred.
  • 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
  • Current R.T. (R) certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Current CPR/BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
