About the Role

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding personnel, property, and sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality security services, ensuring the protection of people, assets, and classified information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Conduct regular patrols within and around the facility to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Greet guests and employees, and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points, maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances to client and/or other security personnel.
  • Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency situations, acting as a first responder when necessary.
Requirements
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience in a related field.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a Department of Defense (DoD) position-appropriate level security clearance.
  • Must have prior security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site, prior military experience, or a combination of both.
  • Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites are also required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior law enforcement or armed security experience is highly desirable.
  • An Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field is also preferred.
