Job Description

**Job Summary:**

A Spartina 449 Key Holder assists the Store Manager in motivating and inspiring their team to achieve store productivity goals. They help the Store Manager to analyze week to date, period to date, and year to date sales, and develop action plans to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Operations: Manage store operations, ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure a positive customer experience by providing exceptional customer service, addressing guest concerns, and coaching employees.
  • Sales Floor Management: Manage sales floor and drive retail sales by addressing guest concerns, coaching employees, and mitigating product loss.
  • Merchandising and Visuals: Ensure daily remerchandising process, daily replenishment process, and store cleanliness standards are properly executed.
  • Opening and Closing Procedures: Open and close the store following proper procedures documented in the opening and closing checklist.
  • Financial Management: Manage payroll budgets to ensure store's contribution is on target and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Team Management: Supervise employees to complete tasks and achieve goals in the absence of store management.
  • Training and Development: Stay current on all company policies and procedures, and ensure that all policies, standards, and procedures are maintained and followed in a consistent manner.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Skills: Able to motivate team members, lead by example, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Able to engage and speak to customers, and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Flexibility: Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in computer skills, including basic software applications.
  • Team Player: Able to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve store productivity goals.
