As a key member of our sports medicine team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive sports medicine information and education to the community, with a focus on injury prevention and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sports medicine programs and services to promote injury prevention and wellness in the community.
  • Provide education and training to athletes, coaches, and other stakeholders on sports medicine topics, including injury prevention and management.
  • Collaborate with Infirmary Health physicians and staff to support and promote our services and programs.
  • Attend sporting events and community events to promote Infirmary Health's sports medicine services and programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Sports Science, or related field.
  • Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) through Board of Certification (BOC) by National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
  • Licensed by the State of Alabama.
  • BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Athletic/Sports Administration.
