Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, upgrade, and troubleshoot both new and existing PLC control systems in accordance with company standards.
  • Travel to client sites to assist with the commissioning of systems in the field.
  • Provide training to clients on operational efficiency and system functionalities.
  • Implement robotic programming and troubleshoot systems involving Kawasaki, Kuka, and Fanuc Robots.
  • Collaborate effectively with the engineering team to understand and integrate complex automation lines and control packages.
  • Design and upgrade HMI applications, including Allen Bradley and Proface touch screens, tailored to company guidelines and customer requirements.
  • Work with clients and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues with delivered products.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and programming troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Preferred industry-related college degree.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in Controls, Systems Engineering, Mechanical and/or Electrical roles, or relevant Robotics experience.
  • Physical Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 50%. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and sit at a desk for extended periods.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, including ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and FactoryTalk.
  • Familiarity with Kawasaki, Kuka, and Fanuc robot programming.
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLCs and HMI programming.
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives and Servos.
