This position plays a crucial role in our innovation team, which involves addressing customer service inquiries and traveling to various client locations across North America and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, upgrade, and troubleshoot both new and existing PLC control systems in accordance with company standards.
- Travel to client sites to assist with the commissioning of systems in the field.
- Provide training to clients on operational efficiency and system functionalities.
- Implement robotic programming and troubleshoot systems involving Kawasaki, Kuka, and Fanuc Robots.
- Collaborate effectively with the engineering team to understand and integrate complex automation lines and control packages.
- Design and upgrade HMI applications, including Allen Bradley and Proface touch screens, tailored to company guidelines and customer requirements.
- Work with clients and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues with delivered products.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and programming troubleshooting as needed.

- Experience: 3-5 years in Controls, Systems Engineering, Mechanical and/or Electrical roles, or relevant Robotics experience.
- Physical Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 50%. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and sit at a desk for extended periods.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, including ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and FactoryTalk.
- Familiarity with Kawasaki, Kuka, and Fanuc robot programming.
- Knowledge of Siemens PLCs and HMI programming.
- Experience with Variable Frequency Drives and Servos.
