Position Summary:

Maverick Helicopters, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic role. This position is integral to the maintenance operations of our helicopter fleet.

Successful applicants will be responsible for conducting both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks. This includes diagnosing issues related to airframe, engine, and electrical systems, as well as replacing engines, transmissions, and other critical components as needed. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor, and overtime may be required.

  • Preferred experience with Airbus EC130 helicopters.
  • Strong knowledge of helicopter airframes and engines, along with advanced troubleshooting skills, is essential.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in paint application and preparation.
  • Experience in sheet metal fabrication and repair.
  • Knowledge of carbon fiber and fiberglass composite repair techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in using calibrated hand tools and specialized equipment.
  • Ability to comprehend and utilize aircraft maintenance manuals accurately.
  • Skilled in documenting maintenance work in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Effective time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Strong decision-making abilities and mental alertness to ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Must maintain good physical condition.

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience with Airbus EC130 maintenance is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (A&P) is required.
