POSITION SUMMARY:

The Installation Adjustment Technician is an integral member of the Site Project Team, responsible for the installation of company equipment at client facilities. This role involves field commissioning of Automated Material Handling Systems equipment, starting from the initial power application to the final acceptance testing with the client.

Compensation: Based on Experience

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Saturday, 6 am - 4 pm (60-hour work week) for two weeks
  • Monday to Friday, 6 am - 4 pm (50-hour work week)
  • Overtime compensation is provided after 40 hours per week
  • Rotating shift schedule of 60/60/50 every three weeks

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to all corporate safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions.
  • Conduct routine installations and maintenance on assigned products.
  • Analyze system errors during qualification and testing phases.
  • Provide on-the-job training to internal technicians regarding routine operations, installations, and troubleshooting of assigned products.
  • Effectively diagnose issues related to both hardware and software.
  • Engage professionally with technical information from internal teams and collaborate with multi-national teams.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation and status reports to supervision.
  • Input data into QA/QC check sheets and assist in report creation for the Installation Site Manager.
  • Participate in daily field meetings.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision as required.
  • Recommend technical solutions to engineering teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical School or Military Certification is preferred.
  • No formal degree is required.
  • Familiarity with electrical diagnostic tools and hand tools.
  • Basic understanding of AC/DC circuits.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Capacity to solve practical problems in varied situations.
  • Comfortable working at heights (Ladder, Scissor lift, etc.).
  • Understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Digital Voltmeters and Oscilloscope functionality.
  • Proficient in PC applications (MS Office, Excel, Windows).
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and ability to obtain necessary travel documentation.
