Emergency Medical Technician

Coffee Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including ambulances and hospitals.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care to patients, including assessing their condition, administering medications, and transporting them to medical facilities.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, including medical history, treatment, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and emergency medical technicians, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical techniques, technologies, and protocols to provide the highest level of care.
- Work effectively in high-stress environments, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Graduate of an approved Paramedic program and certified by the State of Georgia.
- Current Georgia Paramedic license and BLS, ACLS certifications.
- 1 year of experience as a Paramedic, preferably in a hospital or emergency medical services setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to lift, bend, and move patients as needed, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
The Paramedic will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to emergency situations and high-stress conditions. The ability to remain calm, focused, and professional in these situations is essential.
