Job Summary:

Ally Pediatric Therapy is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with autism and other childhood disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to support the growth and skill development of children with autism spectrum disorder.
  • Collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver behavioral and treatment goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Actively seek clinical direction and guidance from your supervisor.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to the ethical codes of conduct set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and Ally Pediatric Therapy.
  • Meet the requirements for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supervision and certification.
  • Work directly with assigned clients, including sub assignments, and implement program descriptions with fidelity.
  • Creatively target goals and activities based on clients' individual interests.
  • Deliver 90% or more of scheduled billable hours over the quarter.

Requirements:

  • Must be creative, energetic, and have a natural ability to interact with children.
  • Registered Behavior Technician certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring.
  • Experience working with young children.
  • ABA experience is a plus.
  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to record and track therapy progress.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • High school diploma.
  • Fingerprint clearance card, CPR, and First Aid certification.

Physical Requirements:

  • This is an active job that requires lifting and carrying clients. You will need to move with the client, which means you will be kneeling, squatting, standing, and sitting on the floor for extended periods of time. You will need to move quickly to ensure client safety.
