  • Customize data with individual files and identify specific information from substantial amounts of related data.
  • Read and understand terminology and symbols used in survey notes, plans, shop drawings, aerial photographs, and maps.
  • Transfer information accurately from sources such as legal descriptions, survey data, aerial photographs, and computer files to final plans and maps.
  • Visualize and illustrate concepts or designs in two or three dimensions.
  • Identify errors, problems, or non-standard situations and suggest alternatives.
  • Develop and implement custom automated drafting and design procedures.
Requirements
  • Possess software proficiency in AutoCad, Microsoft-Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Manage office functions economically and efficiently, organize work, establish priorities, and maintain good interpersonal relations and communications with staff and clients.
  • BS in Civil Engineering preferred but not required. Related degrees and/or experience are also acceptable.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Must be able to travel to various project sites.
