About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Allergy Immunotherapy Lab Nurse to join our team at Allergy & Asthma Affiliates. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in assisting with the preparation and mixing of allergy immunotherapy extract and administering allergy injections.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Greet and create a positive patient experience with each patient, conducting patient assessments and triage, including vitals and medical histories.
  • Allergy Immunotherapy: Prepare and mix allergy immunotherapy extract with sterile technique and according to protocols, administer allergy injections according to treatment plan, and provide patient education, instruction, and support regarding treatment plans.
  • General Patient Care Duties: Room and prepare patients for procedures while maintaining neat and clean clinical areas, perform diagnostic procedures (skin testing, spirometry, etc.) and basic lab tests (CLIA waived), and enter, scan, and update clinical documentation (EMR) ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Pharm Tech, Lab Tech, MA, CMA, LPN, or equivalent experience; excellent people skills with great eye contact, compassionate and friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills with a clear and pleasant voice, and neat, well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm.
