About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Listedbuy. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the successful operation of our kitchen, ensuring that our food is of the highest quality and that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the supervision, preparation, and cooking of various food items, developing daily menu items and their preparation and garnishment.
  • Supervise hourly associates and work with the Executive Chef to develop new menus and assist with ordering.
  • Produce and execute catering events, rolling out new culinary programs in conjunction with our marketing and culinary team.
Requirements
  • A.S. or equivalent experience in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Some progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training.
  • Catering experience a plus.
  • High volume, complex foodservice operations experience - highly desirable.
  • Institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet.
  • Serv Safe certified - highly desirable.
