Job Summary:

In this role, you will oversee all phases of the design and/or construction process of complex projects, defining project parameters, overseeing project teams, and ensuring project commitments are met through design, construction, and close-out processes. You will also provide guidance during all design stages, negotiate fees, and review consultant and contractor invoices and change orders.

This position requires a technical/functional leader who can manage multiple large-scale projects with responsibility and accountability for project outcomes from initiation to close-out. You will develop, analyze, and manage complex project plans, monitor project financials, and ensure overall project performance against plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project teams and ensure project commitments are met
  • Provide guidance during all design stages
  • Negotiate fees and review consultant and contractor invoices and change orders
  • Develop, analyze, and manage complex project plans

  • Lead project activities related to organizational change management
  • Drive allocation of resources, establish schedules, and task assignments
  • Proactively monitor, identify, and mitigate project risks, issues, and trigger events
  • Ensure adherence of project activities to policies and procedures
  • Ensure the alignment, buy-in, engagement, and support of diverse project stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in construction and/or design project management
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports
  • Minimum three (3) years experience implementing large, complex projects in a corporate, non-profit, or government environment
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and minimum eight (8) years experience in project management or a directly related field OR Minimum eleven (11) years experience in project management or a directly related field
