The Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Data Engineering Community & Advocacy Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our growth strategy, you'll be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive developer relations and community engagement plan. Your primary goal will be to foster relationships and grow our developer community.

You'll represent our products and services at industry events, meetups, and forums, engaging with key stakeholders in the developer community. Your expertise will be invaluable in creating compelling content to support developer outreach and engagement, including blog posts, social media updates, webinars, and educational resources.

Collaborating closely with our product and engineering teams, you'll identify and document key use cases and best practices for developers building on our platform. Your analytical skills will be essential in measuring and reporting on the success of our developer relations and community engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive developer relations and community engagement strategy.
  • Represent Pathway's products and services at industry events and forums.
  • Create compelling content to support developer outreach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify and document key use cases and best practices.
  • Measure and report on the success of developer relations and community engagement initiatives.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a developer relations, community management, or related role.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Familiarity with developer platforms, APIs, and basic cloud technology concepts.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with developers and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to measure and optimize developer engagement programs.
