Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies in areas such as patient care, administration, human resources, and billing. This includes rigorous oversight and auditing related to laboratory, radiology, and medication compliance, as well as adherence to regulations from the Department of Health and other relevant agencies.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations and Vice President of Operations to create a community engagement strategy for MedStar Urgent Care facilities. Engage in public relations efforts within the community and across MedStar facilities, identifying new business opportunities and fostering internal partnerships to optimize referral processes. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and coordinate with administrators to enhance service delivery.
  • Manage payroll activities effectively, ensuring cost-efficient staffing and resource allocation. Aim for excellence in associate satisfaction, financial performance, quality metrics, and customer service. Develop and communicate staffing schedules with adequate notice, adjusting as necessary to meet patient needs while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
  • Guarantee a superior experience for patients and visitors by acting as a liaison between them and the staff. Address and resolve issues, conflicts, and complaints to maximize patient satisfaction. Promote the use of technology to enhance patient care, safety, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5-7 years of management experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
