Pediatric Speech Pathologist

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Communication Specialist to join our team at a Jr. High School in Des Plaines, IL.
This full-time position will begin ASAP and continue through June 2025. The SLP will work with a caseload of approximately 40 middle school students, including those in special education programs (Cross-Categorical, grades 6-8).
The primary responsibility of the SLP will be to assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy to students with a range of speech and language disorders.

**Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students' speech and language abilities to identify communication disorders and provide appropriate diagnoses.

- Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication challenges, using evidence-based practices and interventions.
- Create a positive and supportive environment for students, making speech therapy a positive and enjoyable experience.
**Compensation:** We offer a competitive salary ranging from $59,000 to $72,000, depending on experience.
