ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a community-focused healthcare facility with 114 beds, dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of four surrounding counties. Our emergency department, equipped with 15 beds, caters to approximately 18,000 patients annually, providing a wide array of medical services including surgical and radiation oncology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care in alignment with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Standards of Practice.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify expected outcomes, and evaluate patient progress towards these outcomes.
- Ensure that nursing care is sensitive to the unique needs of patients across different age groups.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration within the healthcare team to address the needs of patients and families throughout their care journey.
Work Schedule:
This position requires availability Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a shared on-call rotation among team members.
